This will be my first contribution to this blog.

There is a little bit more than a month left of my time in Denmark hereafter I will be a UWC student at Pearson College of the Pacific Ocean (Canada), but this entry will be about my first “real UWC experience”  

While I am sitting here in the couch in the most northern city in Denmark Skagen with me family, the time slowly goes by and my time in Denmark is running out. Nearly a month ago I took part in the Danish social gathering for the Danish UWC students. In a weekend packed with activities, interesting talks and personal reflection all the students became friends really fast. An evening we decided to go bathing in a local lake. The time was about 22:00 pm when 20 people; future students as well as old students took their bathing cloth and walked out in the forest to find the lake. After 90 minutes and no lake we all disappointed returned to the house.

It is no secret that I were quite nervous when I arrived by train at station in Roskilde were all the students had planned to meet. My nervousness was caused by my second year. This weekend I would meet her for the first time (luckily she was very nice).

This weekend will be remembered as one of the funniest experiences with UWC so far. There is so much more to tell, but I am sure that some of the other students write something too.

43 days to first day of school

i am officially a UWC student

From now on I will do all my entries on English, so I can practice my language before I leave and so other young people among them other UWCs' can understand what I write.  

Today I got the first letter form the school and i'm now officially accepted at Pearson College. The last couple of days have been so exciting. More and more students from all around the world are joining our Pearson group and the last couple of days have given my lots of impressions. Especially the different cultures are so exciting. A couple of the students have created a whats app group were we all chat on a daily basis. We try to share our different cultures through pictures, books and explanations. I would like to share some of the pictures with you. Fell free to ask questions and comment at the entries

Infomøde

Har haft en helt fantastisk weekend. Har for første gang mødt alle UWC 2014-2016 eleverne og det har ikke gjort lysten til at komme afsted mindre. Er første gang vi allesammen er mødes uden at være "konkurenter." Fik også mødt tidligere elever fra Pearson og har fået en lille hilsen fra de anden års elever der er fra Danmark. Føler mig allerede velkommen og kan slet ikke vente med at komme afsted.....

Venter nu på at det bliver Juni hvor der er introtur med de andre.

Første infomøde 

Så er det i weekenden at der er første møde i København. Det er første gang jeg skal møde de andre og i det hele taget hører om turen. Er så klar til at møde tidligere elever fra Pearson College. Tror stadig ikke det er gået op for mig hvor længe jeg skal være væk, men store oplevelser venter....

166 dage til skolestart...

Efter en lang ansøgningskan jeg endelig kalde mig UWC elev, eller i hvert fald næsten. Det eneste der mangler at falde er plads er accepten fra skolen. Det føles helt uvirkeligt og har nok ikke rigtig forstået det endnu. Gik ind til det med den indstilling, at hvis nogen skulle afsted, så kunne det lige så godt være mig. Her står jeg så, efter først et møde i Århus og dernæst i København. 

Der kommer i hvert fald en masse billeder og historier og sådan så i skal være velkommen til at følge med.
